Barden are excited to be working with a national insurance broker as they look to add a Commercial Account Executive to their fast-growing Swords team. This person will be responsible for maintaining a book of business and ensuring good practice in the best interests of their clients.
“We are looking for someone who has at least 1-2 years of experience – ideally coming a broker – who is looking to develop as an Account Executive. This person will focus on existing commercial business with the hopes of later building out their own book of business down the line.” – Hiring Manager
About the Role:
- Ensure that new business/renewal targets are achieved, and best interests of the clients are being served throughout.
- Enforce best practices are followed in order to maintain a client-centric focus.
- Support and advocate for the company’s compliance and office procedures, including adherence to New Business development and Renewal Procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on market practices and product availability, offering valuable feedback and insights regarding market issues, pricing, service levels, and produce development.
- Inspire client loyalty through efficient and friendly service delivery, ensuring timely collection of accounts and adherence to safety policies.
- Liaise with the Marketing Manager on ad-hoc duties relating to the development of Market Plan for the Retail Department.
About the Person:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a commercial sales role, coming from a broker is desirable.
- Minimum APA Commercial or Grandfathered Commercial with proof of up-to-date CPD.
- Sound technical product knowledge and knowledge of the general insurance market.
- Experience brokering for Camera and Videographer insurance desirable but not essential.
