Corporate Tax Manager

A corporate tax manager opportunity has arisen within a leading brand in the technology and telecommunications sector to join their team for a fixed term contract. A competitive salary, contract completion bonus & other benefits are on offer.  A hybrid working policy is in place (2 days in the office)

As Corporate Tax Manager you will support the Head of Tax working on a broad range of Corporate tax matters. You will be a valuable member of the finance team and work across the wider business and external advisors to manage the corporate tax compliance and advisory matters for the group.

 About the position

• Oversee the corporate tax compliance process liaising with finance, legal, group tax and third-party advisors
• Manage tax projects along with the Head of Tax and Group Tax
• Manage corporate tax audits, queries and submissions to the tax authorities
• Review and advise on complex and varied business transactions, contracts and M&A transactions
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate accounting of tax
• Lead on digitalisation projects where corporate tax is impacted
• Manage the preparation of supporting documentation, processes and training guides in respect of corporate tax for the business
• Support Senior Management in identifying and communicating relevant changes in legislation and policy, with particular focus on new OECD Pillar 1 & Pillar 2 rules which will impact the business from a domestic and international tax perspective
• Liaise with group tax regularly on all corporate tax matters

ABOUT YOU

• Chartered Tax Advisor & ideally Qualified Accountant
• Big 4 trained professional is essential. Industry experience desired
• Excellent tax technical skills and detailed knowledge of Irish tax system across all tax heads
• A self-starter with ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Requires strong organisational, leadership and project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Practical thinking and commercial awareness is essential
