Barden are assisting an successful property company to identify a Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. This role would suit a financial accountant who is looking to take a step up in their career.
This is a broad accounting position and will offer the successful candidate exposure to the full accounting process including financial reporting and FP&A activities.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts;
- Preparation of budget and cashflows;
- Analyse trends and complete variance analysis;
- Strive for continued improvement in company processes;
- Maintenance of bank, revenue and balance sheet reconciliations;
- Oversee the AP and AR function;
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
- Minimum 2 years Industry PQE experience.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills;
- Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team;
- Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;
- Solid working knowledge of Excel.
