Barden are excited to be working exclusively with an early-stage clinical research Plc Group, to identify a new FP&A Manager to join their ambitious, growing team. This is a broad role covering key areas including Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Corporate Finance, M&A, and Investor Relations. You will be part of a small and collaborative team which prides itself in producing high-quality work, while working in a fast-paced environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Work with Heads of Functions to drive future strategy and to optimise capital allocation.
- Support any due diligence processes relating to future M&A activity, future financing activity or other similar transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial analysis including variance analysis for the Group and identifying key areas of leadership financial focus.
- Create and design monthly reporting packs, Business Performance Reviews and other reports/analysis as required for the Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
- Work as a finance business partner with the R&D Teams to budget, forecast and monitor clinical trial costs, project costs, consultant costs and other R&D expenditure.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years’ post qualification experience within FP&A, with strong academic credentials operating at a similar level in industry, or practice.
- Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience desirable but not a must.
- Exceptional analytical skills and strong functional knowledge and experience in financial analysis and interpretation.
