An exceptional opportunity for a tax manager has arisen to join the group tax team of a major global group. This role will focus on supporting the existing tax planning & strategy function with involvement in M&A and financing activities, strategic group tax planning and transfer pricing related projects. As the group continue to grow and evolve, there will be scope to get involved in other varied tax consultancy and compliance projects.

About the position
- Support the wider group tax team with M&A, financing and corporate restructuring projects
- Assist the broader business with various consultancy projects and ad-hoc advisory matters
- Working with the wider group tax team to help establish, monitor and maintain optimal transfer pricing policies and business models
- Technical research, including preparing and maintaining tax analyses and technical papers to support tax filing positions
- Supporting and overseeing tax audits conducted by various tax authorities
- Support the wider group tax team on year-end external audit process
- Keeping up with global tax and transfer pricing developments and their impact on the groups structure, including OECD, EU and country specific developments
- Liaising with internal and external auditors and other service providers
About the person
- Corporate tax professional with a training background in a big 4 or top 10, circa 5/6 years experience
- International tax and cross border project management experience would be beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with non tax teams, external advisors and develop relationships at all levels of managements
