Barden Cork are delighted to be exclusively supporting our client, a medium sized Legal firm located in Cork City Centre on this permanent new role on their team located centrally in Cork
Due to growth and ongoing success, they are looking for a Legal Secretary or Legal Executive to join their team. They have a friendly and close-knit team and this role will suit someone highly organised, who is eager to learn and progress and would like to work in an office where there is a positive and friendly atmosphere.
Salary and role level are negotiable depending on level of experience and there will be progression opportunities and opportunities to broaden the scope of your role down the line for the right person.
This is an office based role but there is the option to work full or part-time also in this role and there will be progression for the right person too.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Supporting solicitors in managing caseloads
- Preparing briefs for hearings
- Liaising with clients over the phone
- Ensuring records are up-to-date at all times
- Dictating audio files
- Diary Management and scheduling
- Transcribing and proofreading legal documents
- Collecting and delivering documents
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Strong Administration experience, legal secretary experience preferred.
- Enthusiastic, motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work with office based technology such as case management software, Microsoft Office and ability to type quickly and accurately
- Genuine interest in law
