Barden is thrilled to be working with our client who is a leader in the wholesale and retail industry, to identify a Product Manager to lead transformative initiatives within their organisation. This is a permanent opportunity that will be based out of their Cork or Dublin offices on a hybrid working basis.
As they continue their journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, this is a great opportunity to join their Digital team as an Instore Product Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- You will represent and showcase a deep understanding of customer and partner needs using insights and data.
- You will analyse data to prioritise effectively and identify new opportunities.
- Track competitors and emerging trends to maintain a strong advantage.
- Clearly define problems, align teams, and focus on meaningful outcomes.
- Collaborate across teams to launch and scale effective solutions.
- Test assumptions, learn from feedback, and iterate based on results.
- Set vision, build roadmaps, communicate clearly, and drive impactful execution.
- Take accountability for both customer impact and business results.
- Maintain a strong, reliable cadence of high-quality releases.
- Balance multiple inputs to focus on the highest-value opportunities.
- Ensure alignment across stakeholders through simple, confident messaging.
- Embrace new technologies and continuously seek ways to improve experiences.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- A third level qualification in IT, Product Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years operating at a similar level – delivering digital products such as mobile, web or in store technologies.
- Advantageous but not required to have operated in a retail or digital commerce environment
- Experience delivering digital solutions that support customer experiences
- Excellent 3rd party vendor management – both external agencies as well as internal teams
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating the building of strong cross functional relationships including with retail partners, and using the available expertise and experience to good effect.
- A strong influencer who can work effectively with stakeholders from non-technical backgrounds
- Full driver’s license as the role will require occasional travel to stores.
