An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Tax Manager to join a leading Irish business based in Dublin City.
This position will play a key role on the Finance team to manage all group tax exposures across various tax heads, and ultimately optimise the group’s tax position.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director who oversees the tax function, you will also work closely with the Group Tax Accountant.
Ideally this will suit a qualified tax professional with at least five years’ experience in a corporate tax driven role across professional services and/or industry.
Very flexible working arrangements with an expectation of 1 day per week in the office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Support the tax provisioning process;
- Oversee the direct and indirect tax compliance process;
- Ensure the minimisation of tax risk while striving to achieve tax efficiencies;
- Lead business projects from a tax perspective;
- Provide technical tax support across business units to support strategic divisions;
- Provide information to relevant advisors and local tax authorities;
- Develop an awareness of the international tax landscape and identify the potential impact of tax developments on the business;
- Lead and develop team members;
- Ad hoc duties as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- At least five years’ experience in tax industry or practice;
- Tax Qualification (CTA/AITI);
- Accounting qualification desirable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA);
- Strong commercial acumen and a team player;
- Ability to act independently and work to tight deadlines.
