ABOUT THE ROLE
- Build and maintain positive supply chain relationships with all suppliers;
- Manage stock level reorder process, analysis of aged stock, administration of product stock codes to relevant bill of materials, manage non conforming material quality with suppliers and process return;
- Review order requisitions received from department managers/supervisors to ensure items are required and are being bought competitively;
- Monitor resale stock levels monthly against stock take and sales forecast and place quarterly forward order or off the shelf order with the supply chain as required;
- Monitor shelf stock levels weekly and organise internal production orders as required to maintain the correct stock levels;
- Manage the drawdown of open orders with the supply chain, ensuring that requests for draw down are issued within the agreed timeframes and the quantities being received are correct;
- Ensure that incoming orders are received correctly;
- Ensure that material quality issues and quarantine are managed correctly and communicated effectively with the supply chain.
- Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions;
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Supply chain management qualification is desired;
- 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management required;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise are essential;
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office, Excel
