Here in Barden we are delighted to be partnering with our market leading multinational client in their search for a Capacity Planner to join their growing Supply Chain team. This position has arisen due to growth in the business and its an exciting time for the company, as they introduce the next layer of talent on this team.
This role will be based at the headquarters in Cork (hybrid) where you will have an opportunity to work with Senior leaders in this field and at the centre of all decision making within the Supply Chain function globally. The ideal candidate will have a background in Supply Chain/Planning and will be ambitious, a strong communicator, analytically minded and ready to take the next step in their career. ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Production Planning and Scheduling
- Complete standard reporting requirements for the team & business
- Inventory management
- Control and compliance
- Training and documentation
- Health and safety
- Support the development and implementation of OH initiatives within the Planning and Inventory department and across the broader Supply Chain
- Support development of world class production planning processes and systems
- Actively look to engage & support Planning and Supply Chain projects as required
- Actively look to develop and improve cross function engagement
- Support new product introductions through the provision of timely and accurate information to the NPI process
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Third level qualification in Supply Chain or related area
- Strong excel skills
- ERP systems experience an advantage
- Experience in FMCG sector an advantage
