We seek expressions of interest from Engineers to innovate and design best in class enhancements in the manufacturing facility to drive operational improvements for our client.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop innovative engineering solutions that meet the evolving needs of the manufacturing facility.
- Efficiency Optimization: Analyse existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement design enhancements that drive operational efficiency and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Product Development: Working closely with the innovation team lead the design and development of new consumer products from concept to launch, foster collaboration among team members to leverage diverse perspectives and expertise.
- Manage design projects from inception to completion, coordinating resources effectively and ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. The ability to collaborate and bring people on a journey will set you apart from other applicants.
- Engage proactively with colleagues across various departments, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance, to integrate design solutions seamlessly into the product development process.

ABOUT THE PERSON
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience in design engineering roles within the FMCG industry, with a demonstrated track record of fostering collaboration and strong people retention.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to coordinate resources effectively and manage project timelines and budgets.
