ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Materials Management expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient business processes, collaborating with service providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing invaluable support to daily operations.

  • Develop and implement high-quality systems for logistics and materials management.
  • Monitor performance and analyse KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with service providers.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP requirements and controls within our warehousing facilities.
  • Contribute to and participate in Quality & Safety audits.
  • Support RFQ processes and facilitate associated business procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with transportation regulations to ensure seamless shipping processes.
  • Drive process optimization and streamline SOPs for enhanced efficiency.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to streamline operations.
  • Influence storage strategies based on capacity and safety stock considerations.
  • Conduct safety and hazard assessments to ensure optimal warehouse operations.
  • Manage change and deviations to ensure smooth materials management.
  • Stay abreast of emerging logistics initiatives, benchmarking against industry standards.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Hold a Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail and proficiency in problem-solving.
  • Display strong critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to task completion.
  • Familiarity with data Integrity principles is a plus.
  • Communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Showcase a continuous improvement mindset, taking initiatives with confidence.
