ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Materials Management expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient business processes, collaborating with service providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing invaluable support to daily operations.
- Develop and implement high-quality systems for logistics and materials management.
- Monitor performance and analyse KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with service providers.
- Ensure adherence to GMP requirements and controls within our warehousing facilities.
- Contribute to and participate in Quality & Safety audits.
- Support RFQ processes and facilitate associated business procedures.
- Maintain compliance with transportation regulations to ensure seamless shipping processes.
- Drive process optimization and streamline SOPs for enhanced efficiency.
- Utilize inventory management systems to streamline operations.
- Influence storage strategies based on capacity and safety stock considerations.
- Conduct safety and hazard assessments to ensure optimal warehouse operations.
- Manage change and deviations to ensure smooth materials management.
- Stay abreast of emerging logistics initiatives, benchmarking against industry standards.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Hold a Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of pharmaceutical experience.
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail and proficiency in problem-solving.
- Display strong critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to task completion.
- Familiarity with data Integrity principles is a plus.
- Communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Showcase a continuous improvement mindset, taking initiatives with confidence.
