A truly commercial opportunity for an Indirect Tax Manager who has a strong understanding of the indirect tax landscape on a global scale.

This is a unique role where you will partner with the customers of this global technology leader, getting to know their businesses and understanding their supply chains to ensure they’re fully compliant with indirect tax obligations. You will also support the wider business in key decision making, working closely with the Head of Tax and Tax Director.

Ideally this will suit a tax qualified professional with a strong understanding of the indirect tax landscape on a global scale. Experience in a B2B or B2C business would be beneficial.

Very flexible working arrangements and will consider professionals outside the Dublin region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Supply Chain Analysis – delve into the business model of each customer and understand their supply chain(s) to provide ongoing advisory around their indirect tax obligations on a global scale.
Global Landscape – maintain an awareness of legislative updates on a global scale and ensure compliance with same i.e. e-invoicing, indirect tax rate
Compliance – review computations/returns prepared by local advisors and ensure timely filing. Prepare some indirect tax returns in house.
Tax Authorities – manage relationships with global tax authorities while identifying the need for voluntary disclosures and supporting the resolution of various tax audits where necessary.
The Wider Business – support the resolution of indirect tax queries from various stakeholders within the business.

ABOUT THE PERSON

At least five years indirect tax experience.
Tax qualification essential.
A strong knowledge of the international indirect tax landscape.
Ability to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail.
A natural problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills.
