ROLE: Lead InfoSec Architect
LOCATION Cork / Hybrid
Barden are delighted to continue working with a Global organization with a significant presence here in Cork.
Right now, they are seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to add specific value when it comes to both building and promoting information security capabilities and compliance for the enterprise network and applications across the wider organisation.
Reporting into the ‘Global IT Operations Director’ you will be a key member of my clients Security Architecture team.
The successful candidate will possess an almost agnostic understanding of Enterprise architecture frameworks, enabling you to independently prescribe & assess technical architectures.
This role offers a Six-figure salary (and attractive Benefits / Bonus package) and very flexible working arrangements with some weekly visits to their strategic Cork site.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders across – Infrastructure, Network Engineering, Operations, Applications, and Compliance management to ensure accurate alignment to our clients Global service capabilities.
- One of the key deliverables with this role will be to develop and maintain a comprehensive strategy for Network Security architecture in order to accomplish department objectives of protecting company systems & data hosted in the various data centers & Cloud infrastructure.
- Display IT Security Project Management skills in an effort to develop a secure and sustainable security reference architecture wherever applicable.
- You’ll be asked to assess the current status-quo relating to architecture for Endpoint Security looking to develop future state architecture and capabilities around (Endpoint) Security solutions.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- The successful candidate will have a deep background in keys aspect of security architecture needed to enable and securely deliver infrastructure and applications hosted within my clients infrastructure and public cloud providers space.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills will enable you to understand the drivers and requirements of the business translating those into technology solutions, serving as a liaison between technical teams and wider management teams.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) networking and the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) 7-layer model
- Detailed understanding of attack vectors, current threats, and their remediation strategies
