Barden are delighted to be working with a global professional services firm who are looking for a Business Researcher to join their team. Ideally looking for an experienced researcher who is used to finding, recording and analysing information from multiple sources and able to quickly turn said information into dynamic summaries, reports, articles and visuals. Experience in the financial services sector and/or the offshore markets a plus.

Scope and Key Responsibilities
- Undertakes research projects to assess external market developments, the competitive landscape and emerging threats.
- Research for and drafting of compelling thought leadership pieces relating to our markets, sectors and services.
- Works with and analyses complicated data sets and translates these into easy-to-consume information and insights.
- Ability to translate technical documentation into effective pitches.
- Create powerful client/target summaries from multiple sources.
- Create arresting and insightful visuals off the back of thorough research to effectively communicate findings.
- Other tasks and special projects as required by the business from time to time.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with using MS Office suite of applications, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
- Understand and manipulate large datasets
- Familiarity with other data interpretation and media presentation formats would be a plus.
- The successful candidate should show attention to detail and be able to plan and prioritize their work effectively and independently.
- Strong organisational skills are essential and an enthusiastic attitude to learn and enhance their skills will contribute to the success of the candidate.
- Ability to work in a remote team and to share workloads when required is necessary. Comfortable with a work from home environment.
