Barden are working with a renewable energy company looking for a settlements analyst to join their contracts team in their Cork office. This person will be joining a team of 3 people who focus on monthly tasks – customer billing and registrations on an internal settlements and billing system.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Collaborate closely to ensure timely completion of monthly tasks related to customer billing, wind farms, and customer registrations.
- Communicate effectively with your team and foster a culture of sharing workload and knowledge.
- Complete monthly billing for corporate customers, including data consumption validation, pricing, and working with specific PPAs.
- Perform revenue calculations for all wind farms and develop a vast knowledge of the energy market in Ireland.
- Maintain positive relationships with external customers and address all queries that arise.
- Work with multiple teams across the business, including trading, finance, and development, to provide data queries, actual and accrual numbers, and project support.
- Utilize our bespoke market settlement and billing systems to add value for our organization.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area such as finance or business with strong analytical skills, to identify and resolve differences.
- Around 2 years experience in an office environment – finance/administration
- Demonstrated ability in handling customers and dealing with queries
- Experience dealing with a high volume of numerical tasks and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Work as a team player, as projects often arise involving the whole team.
